At Wine Supply Guys Co. ™, sustainable initiatives are pivotal to actively doing our part for the business, our people and impact to our supply chain and services leading to best practices in the 21st century.

As an agile business in exporting industry, globally, we know the footprint we make as the world economy adjusts to climate change and is critical in ensuring as a New Zealand based progressive enterprise, not only we participate but actively encourages to innovate, internally and externally of the business we run to our customers.

At present Wine Supply Guys Co. ™ have four key initiatives, to activate our journey to reduce our carbon footprint and be zero-carbon rated, as per TOITŪ carbon reduce certified – ISO 14064-1 standards:

People:

  • Actively promoting health & wellbeing programs with our company employees and stakeholders.

  • Actively promoting a flexible working environment (working from home) and work-life balance.

  • Ensuring living wages for entry level positions within the company.

  • Ongoing team leadership development for employees.

Community:

  • ·Sponsor local water initiatives including Blake NZ, in specific Blake Expeditions, which aims to fuel a passion for the environment and provide opportunities for delegates to combine natural science and research with an ocean adventure. If we use the ocean for logistics, it’s logical to give back to what the environment gives us on, a daily basis.

  • Actively participate in ‘Pink Shirt Day’ each year, in promoting anti-bullying in our community be it the work or general environment and encouraging support and guidance to our most vulnerable in the community.

Our Workplace:

  • Environmental responsibility is a key driver of the brand positioning strategies of our business.

  • Maintaining an active fleet of vehicles that is less than 10 years old and promotes the active approach to alternative energy sourced vehicles to lower the carbon footprint to our environment.
